Did you know that April is the Month of Hope? Hope can change situations and lives, it is an emotion that is determined by each individual. We know April is almost over but it’s never too late to share the inspirational stories of our Transcend Warriors. Each one of our Transcend Warriors share their own personal story and journey with diabetes. The highs, the lows, the good days and the bad. Our Transcend Warrior community is amazing and available to anyone who wants to become a Warrior!
Meet Gavin:“Something I have learned from my experiences with diabetes is to always look on the bright side. In any given situation, no matter how bad, I believe that there is something positive. For example, I now have countless friends that I never would have met if I hadn’t been diagnosed with T1D. I was able to find the positive, my friends, in the negative situation of getting diabetes. A few other things I have learned are to value my health more and better advocate for myself.”
Meet Megan: “My diabetic hero’s are all of the people out there living their lives and not letting diabetes get in their way. I don’t want to choose just one because there are so many people out there who are an inspiration to keep going. The online diabetes community is amazing!”
