Found out I had diabetes the hard way… I had the typical symptoms of high blood sugar – I lost a lot of weight, had extreme thirst, and was constantly feeling tired. After being rushed to the hospital, my blood sugar was at 712. The day I was diagnosed was 8/27/2019, I was hospitalized for nine days. In the time since, I am not as concerned about high blood sugars, the lows have been affecting me more than highs. Trying to adjust to this new life as a Type 1 Diabetic. I feel awful whenever I go low.
