My Story:

I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes at 3 months pregnant. Very scary situation. I was told I should consider aborting my son. Not happening I said. I was very sick and running very high blood sugars. I guess I was in denial. I was in denial. But faced with caring for another life, I got through it. At a month early my son was 8lb 8oz. Full term he could have been 10 to 12 lbs. 24 yrs later type 2 I am on my journey still and taking care of myself.
