July 21, 2020

My Story:

I was diagnosed when I was 16. I had a rough first few years because I was in denial. I did not take care of myself like I should have. When I turned 20 I found out I was pregnant and that started to turn everything around. I ate right and got on track. But I had a difficult pregnancy, I experienced seizures the whole time and even afterwards due to sudden drop in blood sugar. Now however I am a lot more stable I have a continuous glucose monitor and Insulin Pump. Some days are harder than others but I managed to fight my way through it
